Students of Dhaka College have demanded immediate elections for their long-dormant student union, calling it “tragic” that they must protest even after a mass uprising. They have urged the administration to publish the constitution and election framework within 10 days, warning of tougher movements otherwise. Students alleged that the absence of a union has left them voiceless on pressing issues such as food and housing crises.
