The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police has arrested six leaders and activists of the banned Awami League and its affiliated organizations in separate operations across the capital. Deputy Police Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman said on Friday that the arrests took place within the past 24 hours as part of an ongoing crackdown on the outlawed political group.
