To address ongoing protests by Secretariat employees, the Cabinet Division has formed an eight-member committee led by Senior Secretary A.S.M. Saleh Ahmed of the Land Ministry. Badiul Kabir, co-chair of the Secretariat Officers-Employees Unity Forum, stated the committee will soon begin talks with the protesting employees. Demonstrations entered their fourth day today, with government staff breaching security cordons to demand withdrawal of the 'Public Service (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025'.
