Kushtia’s Notorious Lipton Arrested with Arms and Associates

Jahangir Kabir alias Lipton, once a feared extremist leader in Kushtia, has been arrested by the army along with three associates. Formerly aligned with the banned group Gono Mukti Fouj and later linked to controversial RAB officer Ziaul Ahsan, Lipton allegedly ran a network involving contract killings and arms trade. After the fall of the Awami League government, he attempted to join BNP through local leader Zakir Sarkar. Recently reemerging from hiding, he was caught with weapons following surveillance and recovered video evidence.
