The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) returned Al Amin, a Bangladeshi farmer detained from the Enayetpur border in Biral, Dinajpur, after five and a half hours. The farmer was taken on Friday morning (January 24). In protest, several Bangladeshis detained an Indian farmer and handed him over to members of the Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB).

While working in a field in Dinajpur, a Bangladeshi teenager was taken away by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF). In protest, several Bangladeshis detained an Indian farmer and handed him over to BGB members. Following the incident, tensions escalated in the Dinajpur border area. A flag meeting was immediately arranged between the BGB and BSF. By the afternoon, both individuals were returned to their respective sides through the flag meeting.
