Trump Threatens to Reimpose Tariffs on Indian and Chinese Goods

Once again, U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened to impose retaliatory tariffs on Indian and Chinese goods. Speaking at an event last Friday night, Trump claimed that he told Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi that the U.S. would impose tariffs at the same rate as India. He further stated that although such retaliatory tariffs had not been implemented before, his administration is now preparing to do so.
