Promote Use of Eco-Friendly Bamboo Furniture: Environment Adviser

Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan has called for increased use of bamboo in furniture production to ease pressure on wood resources. Speaking at a post-Eid meeting with Environment Ministry officials, she highlighted bamboo’s environmental benefits, rapid growth, and availability. She directed the Forest Industries Corporation to boost bamboo furniture production and urged technological innovation through the Bamboo Research Centre. She also emphasized export potential by producing modern, sustainable, and stylish bamboo furniture to meet both local and global demand.

Use of Eco-Friendly Bamboo Furniture Must Be Increased: Environment Adviser

Environment, Forest and Climate Change Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan has stressed the need to increase the use of eco-friendly bamboo furniture. She made the statement on Sunday while exchanging Eid greetings with officials and staff of the Ministry of Environment on the first working day after Eid-ul-Azha. During the gathering at the ministry’s conference room, she also urged everyone to work with renewed enthusiasm to protect the environment.
