Bangladesh is set to receive three LNG cargoes from the UK’s TotalEnergies Gas & Power for October, with unit prices ranging from $11.34 to $11.54. Finance Advisor Salehuddin Ahmad emphasized stable supply and low prices despite pressure to raise gas rates. In the same advisory meeting, the government approved procurement of fertilizers, including MOP from Canada and Russia, TSP and DAP from Morocco, and authorized textbook printing, ensuring steady essential supplies for the upcoming months.
The government is purchasing three cargoes of LNG from the UK for the month of October through TotalEnergies Gas & Power. These proposals for LNG procurement were approved at the meeting of the Government Procurement Advisory Committee on Tuesday.
