Reasons Behind the Cancellation of Licenses for 7 Telecom Companies

The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) has canceled the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) licenses of seven telecom companies. The release states that the licenses of Telebarta Limited, Ranks Telecom Limited, National Telecom Limited, Bangla Phone Limited, Westec Limited, OneTel Communication Limited, and Integrated Service Limited have been canceled due to the expiration of their licenses and the companies’ failure to apply for renewal.
