The Chattogram Port Authority has issued a directive requiring lighter vessels, which transport imported goods from larger ships anchored at the outer harbor, to leave the port area within 72 hours after loading. Earlier, on Wednesday (February 26), the port authority issued a notice enforcing this rule in the public interest, aiming to ensure price stability in the market and meet national requirements.
