
Russia Withdraws from Nuclear Treaty
In recent decades, various nuclear arms control agreements between Russia and the United States have been regarded as some of the most successful security initiatives in global politics. Especially significant was the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, which played a groundbreaking role in ceasefire and nuclear disarmament.
