Call to Revise the July Declaration by Jamaat Secretary

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General, Mia Golam Porwar, has called for revisions to the July Declaration, stating that it reflects the ideology and sentiments of a particular political party. He emphasized that the nation had been anticipating the "July Revolution," marking it as a significant event in the country’s history. However, he warned that if the bloodshed and sacrifices of hundreds go in vain, it could give rise to a new wave of fascism.
