National Unity on the Question of Fascism vs. Democracy Remains Intact and Will Continue: Tarique Rahman

Dhaka, August 5 – BNP's Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has said that an unprecedented national unity against fascism has emerged on the blood-stained streets paved by thousands of martyrs. He declared that fascism will never again take hold in Bangladesh, and no one will be allowed to murder democracy or turn the country into a client state. “This national unity remains intact and will continue,” he said in a virtual address to the nation on the occasion of August 5.
