A record 4,813 bodies of migrant workers were repatriated to the country in 2024. In comparison, 4,552 migrant worker bodies were returned in 2023. These statistics were published on the Wage Earners Welfare Board’s website on January 14. However, the data does not specify how many bodies came from which countries.
