In an official statement, Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the recent developments are further aggravating regional instability and that Islamabad is closely monitoring the situation with serious concern.
The ministry noted that Pakistan, which has played an important mediating role in peace discussions between Washington and Tehran in recent months, has urged all parties to exercise restraint.
