Vassily Nebenzia, Russia’s permanent representative to the UN, criticized the imbalance in nuclear oversight, stating that Iran remains one of the most scrutinized nations by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He said Iran's cooperation has been met with airstrikes instead of diplomacy. In contrast, he highlighted that Israel has yet to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT), allowing it to avoid full IAEA inspections.
