50 Lakh Families to Receive 30 Kg of Rice at Tk 15 per Kg During Ramadan

Advisor to the Ministry of Food, Ali Imam Majumdar, has stated that there is no risk of a food crisis in the country. However, due to the ongoing civil war in Myanmar’s Rakhine state, concerns about food shortages there have arisen. In response, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and other law enforcement agencies have been instructed to tighten surveillance along the border to prevent food smuggling.
