Unofficial results from all 156 polling centers in the Rajbari-1 constituency have been announced, showing BNP candidate Ali Nawaz Mahmud Khayyam, who contested under the paddy sheaf symbol, as the winner. The results were declared on Thursday, February 12, 2026. According to the unofficial count, Khayyam received 155,270 votes, while his nearest rival, Md. Nurul Islam, who ran under the scales symbol, secured 99,785 votes.
The results indicate that the BNP candidate maintained a consistent lead across polling centers and ultimately secured victory by a significant margin. Election officials noted that Khayyam’s lead remained steady from the beginning to the end of the counting process.
However, the Election Commission has not yet released the official results. The formal announcement is expected to be made later, confirming the final outcome for the Rajbari-1 seat.
