Sharpen Unity to Resist All Conspiracies: Ambassador Mushfiq

Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Mexico, Mushfiqur Fazal Ansari, has likened Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's rule to a carbon copy of Mussolini’s fascist regime in Italy. Speaking at a discussion titled “July Mass Uprising and the Journey of Democracy” held at the Bangladesh Embassy in Mexico City on July 31, the ambassador accused the ruling Awami League of fostering tyranny through suppression, likening the Chhatra League to Mussolini’s Blackshirts. He urged the people to remain united to foil ongoing conspiracies, warning that divisions could empower authoritarian forces.
