Trump Dismisses 10,000 Employees After Taking Office
In an effort to reduce government spending, over 9,500 government employees have been dismissed since Donald Trump assumed office for his second term. British news agency Reuters reported this on Saturday (February 15). According to the report, after taking the oath on January 20, President Trump ordered the establishment of a new office named “Government Spending Reduction and Workforce Efficiency.” Tesla founder Elon Musk was appointed as the head of this office. However, since the U.S. Congress has not yet recognized it, the office has not been given the status of a ministry, and Musk holds the title of “Advisor” instead of “Minister.”
