BNP leader Jamal Uddin Howlader was brutally beaten to death in Bhola on Tuesday while attempting to mediate a land dispute. The incident occurred over a five-decimal land conflict in Kunjo Potti village. Reports indicate that Md. Ibrahim Radhi purchased the land, but neighboring landowner Md. Alam Bepari disputed the ownership, leading to a prolonged feud. This dispute had previously resulted in several altercations, including a physical confrontation on Eid day. While trying to defuse another outbreak of violence, Jamal Uddin Howlader was fatally attacked.
