Forecast of Very Heavy Rain, Signal No. 3 Issued for Sea Ports

Rainfall was observed in Dhaka and surrounding areas early Tuesday morning. Although the intensity decreased as the day progressed, the sky remained overcast or partly cloudy. According to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department, heavy to very heavy rain accompanied by gusty or squally winds may affect the northern Bay of Bengal, coastal areas of Bangladesh, and its sea ports.
