Electoral Roadmap a Mockery of the People: Khelafat Majlis

Maulana Jalaluddin Ahmad, Secretary General of Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis, has said that the announcement of an electoral roadmap by the Election Commission, without any visible progress on reforms, the promised July Charter, or the desired advancement in the trial of Sheikh Hasina and her associates, is essentially a mockery or deception of the people. It gives the impression that elections are the only urgent matter, while the aspirations and expectations of the people are treated as secondary.
