BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and interim government Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus held a 95-minute meeting in London, which BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir described as a turning point. He said the two leaders discussed national unity, election strategies, and democratic reforms. Fakhrul emphasized moving past political divisions and rebuilding the state through democratic means. He also highlighted Tarique’s respect for political martyrs and gratitude toward the people and Begum Khaleda Zia for her guidance during critical times.
