Islamic parties are considering united participation in elections: Fayzul

Mufti Syed Mohammad Fayzul Karim, senior Naib Amir of Islami Andolan Bangladesh, stated that the party has been demanding elections under the proportional representation (PR) system. He emphasized that the PR system is the safest mechanism for Bangladesh, as it prevents the rise of fascists, the use of muscle power, capture of central institutions, and the influence of black forces. He added that people of all ideals can participate through this system.
