Trial Begins for Hasina, Joy, and Putul; Arrest Warrants Issued

The formal trial of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy, and daughter Saima Wazed Putul has begun in connection with three separate corruption cases filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). The cases relate to alleged fraud involving the allocation of 30 kathas (approx. 21,600 square feet) of land in the Purbachal New Town Project.
