
Trade Deal with the U.S.: 19% Tariff on Indonesian Goods, Purchase of 50 Boeing Jets
Indonesia has reached a trade agreement with the United States, under which up to 19% tariffs will be imposed on Indonesian goods entering the U.S. In return, American products will gain duty-free access to the Indonesian market. As part of the deal, the Southeast Asian country may also purchase a large amount of American goods, including 50 Boeing aircraft, The Guardian reports.
