Protests Continue at the Secretariat Ultimatum to Government to Repeal Ordinance Immediately

Employee leaders have issued an ultimatum to the government demanding the immediate repeal of the Government Service (Amendment) Ordinance, 2025. If the ordinance is not withdrawn soon, they warned, conferences will be held across all eight administrative divisions of the country, from which larger protest programs will be announced. Preparations for the conferences are already underway and will soon be finalized, according to labor leader Nurul Islam.
