A letter circulating on Facebook claiming that BNP leader Hasan Mamun has been expelled from all party positions is completely false, according to the central BNP. Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi clarified that the party has not taken any such action. Mamun himself stated that the letter was digitally manipulated to spread misinformation and urged party members not to be misled by rumors.
