Dhaka has seen multiple fire incidents in recent days, raising safety concerns. In the past week alone, a fire at a residential hotel in Shahjadpur, Gulshan, claimed four lives. Soon after, major fires broke out at Gabtoli Shahi Mosque slum and Abul slum in Bhashantek. In response, the Bangladesh Army has issued a set of precautionary measures, including enhanced CCTV monitoring, restricted access to high-risk areas, legal actions against suspicious activities, improvements in firefighting infrastructure, and regulations to prevent electrical overload.
কিছুদিন ধরে ঢাকায় একাধিক অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। গত একসপ্তাহের মধ্যে গুলশানের শাহজাদপুরে আবাসিক হোটেলে অগ্নিকাণ্ডে নিহত হয়েছেন ৪ জন। এর পরপরই গাবতলীর শাহী মসজিদ বস্তিতে আগুনে সবকিছু পুড়ে ছাই হয়ে যায়। সেই রেশ না কাটতেই ভাসানটেক এলাকার আবুলের বস্তিতে আগুন লাগে। শুষ্ক ও উষ্ণ আবহাওয়ার কারণে এ সময় অগ্নিদুর্ঘটনা লেগেই থাকে।
