In a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner, Gano Adhikar Parishad demanded the cancellation of registration for the Awami League, Jatiya Party, and other members of the 14-party alliance. The party alleged that over the past 16 years, the AL has established a one-party rule, with its allies facilitating this regime. The letter accuses them of human rights violations, enforced disappearances, extrajudicial killings, corruption, and compromising state sovereignty. “They have repeatedly snatched away the people’s voting rights through three consecutive one-sided elections,” the letter stated.
