National Citizens’ Committee Calls for Protest in Gazipur

The National Citizens’ Committee has called for a protest rally in response to an alleged attack on students at the residence of former Liberation War Affairs Minister and Awami League leader A.K.M. Mozammel Haque in Dhirashram, Gazipur. Claiming that students were ambushed and attacked by Awami League affiliates and associates of former mayor Jahangir at Mozammel Haque’s house, the Gazipur district and metropolitan National Citizens’ Committee has announced the protest. The demonstration is scheduled to take place on Saturday at 10:30 AM in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s (DC) office.
