Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen: "The U.S. Seeks to Pressure Others by Weaponizing Tariffs"

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh, Yao Wen, has said that the United States is using tariffs as a tool to pressure other countries. Since the Trump administration came to power, the U.S. has imposed a series of unilateral tariffs, including the so-called "reciprocal tariffs," which he described as a textbook example of trade suppression. According to the ambassador, these measures reflect hegemonic politics and unilateral suppression, masked as reciprocity.
