BNP Vice Chairman: "Consensus Commission Turning into a Division Commission"

BNP Vice Chairman Asaduzzaman Ripon has criticized the ongoing political reforms, stating that unnecessary proposals under the guise of excessive reform are creating rifts among political parties. He remarked, “Unfortunately, we are witnessing chaos in the Consensus Commission meetings. There is confusion, boycotts are happening. The commission has taken on several agendas outside of its original mandate. Implementing so many agendas is not the commission's job. The Consensus Commission is gradually turning into a Division Commission.”
