‘The Spelling of Bangla Academy is a Complete Photocopy of Anandabazar’

Daily Jugantor editor, poet Abdul Hai Shikdar, stated that people who “eat sugar with a spoon” in Kolkata have conspired against Syed Ali Ahsan. He claimed that the standardized Bengali spelling under Bangla Academy was a complete photocopy of India’s Anandabazar Patrika. He also mentioned that these individuals have spread malicious words about Syed Ali Ahsan. This statement was made by the editor of Jugantor during his speech as the chair of the discussion titled ‘Life and Work: Syed Ali Ahsan,’ held on the main stage of the Ekushey Book Fair on Saturday afternoon.
