Dhaka’s Parking Policy Still Not Finalized After Five Years

Because of this, they have prepared a draft policy. It states that parking facilities play an important role in improving traffic management in any city. Along with the increase in the number of vehicles in Dhaka metropolis, the tendency to park cars haphazardly along the roadsides has also alarmingly increased. This has reduced the usable road space for vehicles and increased traffic congestion day by day. However, even after five years since the preparation of the important draft policy, it has yet to be implemented.
