Israel has resumed heavy airstrikes across the blockaded Gaza Strip, with the death toll rising to 170. Among the casualties, 78 people were killed in the southern region of the strip, while over a hundred others were injured. In Gaza City alone, at least 20 people lost their lives, and more than 50 others sustained injuries due to Israeli air raids. The escalation comes after negotiations failed, according to a statement from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office.
