Ishraque Demands Resignation of Advisor Asif, Warns of Renewed Protests

BNP leader Ishraque Hossain has called for the resignation of Local Government Advisor Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan, accusing him of spreading "false and misleading" information in the media regarding Ishraque’s swearing-in as Mayor of Dhaka South City Corporation. He has also urged the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) to investigate allegations of corruption against the advisor.
