Bangladesh Among Asia’s Lowest in Health Sector Allocation

Since independence, Bangladesh has made notable progress in healthcare. Child and maternal mortality rates have significantly declined, and life expectancy has risen to over 72 years. Vaccination programs are nearly fully implemented, and a large number of skilled personnel have been trained at the community level. These achievements came despite limited resources.
