
Manipur on Boil Again, Curfew Imposed
Tension has once again gripped the northeastern Indian state of Manipur. According to multiple Indian news outlets, the situation began to deteriorate on Saturday evening. Clashes erupted between protesters and police in the state capital, Imphal, plunging the region into unrest. In an effort to control the situation, internet services have been suspended in several districts. Additionally, a curfew has been imposed in Bishnupur district, AFP reports.
