Three Arrested for IFIC Bank Vault Robbery in Dhaka During Eid Holidays

Police have arrested three individuals, including the night guard of IFIC Bank's sub-branch in Keraniganj, Dhaka, for stealing Tk 15.3 lakh during the Eid holidays. The suspects entered the bank by breaking a washroom exhaust fan, disabled the CCTV system, and looted the vault. Tk 15.2 lakh has been recovered, along with robbery tools and the DVR device. The suspects confessed during interrogation, and police are also investigating the bank manager’s possible involvement in the incident.

IFIC Bank Vault Robbery During Eid Holidays: 3 Arrested, Tk 15.2 Lakh Recovered

Three individuals have been arrested in connection with the theft of Tk 1.53 million from the vault of an IFIC Bank PLC sub-branch in Rohitpur, Keraniganj, Dhaka during the Eid holidays. The arrested individuals are identified as the bank’s night guard Md. Siam, and his associates Al Amin Howlader and Imran Sheikh. Police have recovered Tk 1.52 million from the suspects.
