The Communist Party of Bangladesh, or CPB, held a human chain demanding a permanent solution to gas problems to protect industrial factories. The programme took place on Thursday afternoon outside the Titas Gas office in Karwan Bazar, Dhaka.
Participants displayed placards calling for the elimination of gas theft and mismanagement. One of the messages shown at the demonstration said, “Eliminate gas theft and mismanagement.”
Another placard demanded gas in quality cylinders with correct weight and fair prices. The report did not provide details of speeches, the number of participants, or any response from the authorities or Titas Gas.
