Golam Rabbani, Joint General Secretary of Singra Municipal Chhatra League, Arrested in 2024 BNP Attack Case

Golam Rabbani Roni, the Joint General Secretary of Singra Municipal Chhatra League in Natore, was arrested during Operation Devil Hunt. A case was filed in September last year regarding an attack on BNP leaders during the 2018 national elections. He has been accused of involvement in the assault on BNP leaders and activists. Rabbani, who holds key positions in both Singra Chhatra League and Upazila Swechchhasebak League, has been sent to court.

Banned Chhatra League Leader Golam Rabbani Arrested

Golam Rabbani, a former leader of the banned Chhatra League, has been arrested in Singra, Natore, during Operation Devil Hunt. Police conducted a raid in Singra on Wednesday (February 12) afternoon and arrested him. The arrested Golam Rabbani was the Joint General Secretary of Singra Municipal Chhatra League and the Organizational Secretary of the Upazila Swechchhasebak League. He is the son of Aminul Islam from Sholakura village in Singra Municipality.
