Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A.M.M. Nasir Uddin stated, “We do not want to rely on the police for fair elections; we will trust the people. People will vote in a festive atmosphere, and they will guard the polling stations to ensure that no irregularities occur and no one can take away their voting rights.”
