NCT to Be Operated by Chittagong Port Authority for 6 Months Under Its Own Management

The government has decided that the New Mooring Container Terminal (NCT) of Chittagong Port will be operated under the port authority’s own management for the next six months or until a new operator is appointed. This decision was approved at a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs held today, Tuesday (July 1), at the Secretariat, chaired by Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Advisor on Economic and Science & Technology Affairs.
