Israel Will Face Harsher Response to Future Attacks, Warns Senior Iranian MP

Iranian lawmaker Ebrahim Azizi warned that any new Israeli attack would be met with a tougher and decisive response. Speaking on September 6, he said Iran was not alone in the June conflict, as Israel received military support from the U.S. and others. Following Israel’s June 12 strikes that killed commanders, scientists, and civilians, Iran retaliated with “Operation True Promise 3,” using advanced missiles and drones that hit key Israeli sites. A ceasefire took effect June 24 after U.S. mediation.
