In a letter to the Nobel Committee, Carter praised Trump’s leadership in preventing nuclear escalation and promoting peace in a volatile region. “Trump has shown the courage and clarity needed to advance peace in the Middle East, a region long plagued by deep-rooted hostilities,” Carter wrote.
