Jamaat-e-Islami leader and retired Colonel Dr. Zehad Khan has strongly denied allegations that he lobbied for former President Abdul Hamid to leave the country. “Although Hamid is a family relative, most of my relatives support Jamaat,” he clarified. He dismissed Facebook-based claims, particularly by a user named Nazmus Sakib, as baseless, politically motivated propaganda. “I have never met Dr. Muhammad Yunus, and I have no connection with DIG Moazzem Hossain,” he added, rejecting the rumors as entirely fabricated.
