“We will examine the legal aspects of the demand to ban the Jatiya Party and see what can be done”

Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman has said that in the past, the Jatiya Party assisted the Awami League in suppressing opposition during controversial elections and the July upheaval. For this reason, he added, the demand to ban the Jatiya Party will be examined legally to determine what action can be taken.
