Two Chhatra League activists, Rabina Oishi and Labiba Islam, have been accused of threatening fellow students who protested against drug use at Suniti-Shanti Hall of Comilla University. The students, who had raised concerns about drug consumption, were allegedly intimidated by the two activists. Rabina and Labiba reportedly warned the students that they would “deal with them” for speaking out. The incident has caused fear among the students at the hall, and the accused have denied the charges, claiming the situation was misunderstood.

‘I Have Played Using Chhatra League, and I Will Keep Playing’

On Monday, February 25, after news of drug use was published, the two students visited several rooms in Block C of the hall at around 6 PM. They interrogated students, asking who had signed the complaint. When the students admitted to signing, Labiba Islam (a student of Finance and Banking, 2018-19 session) and Rabina Oishi (from the same department) allegedly threatened them. A recorded threat has been obtained by the reporter. In the recording, Labiba can be heard saying, “I have played using Chhatra League, and I will keep playing. Come on! Unlike prostitutes like you, I don’t go from room to room with girls. I will deal with all of you and expose everything.”
